The following seven pictures show the original decals on Cactus Canyon.

The machine had seen a pretty hard life and the artwork had really suffered with many sections missing, badly scratched or worn through.

The old decals are removed, in this instance a heat gun and scraper are used. This particular machine has a white underlay beneath the decals which is also removed with a heat gun and scraper. Once all the artwork is removed and the cabinet is back to bare timber the cabinet is sanded smooth in preparation for painting.

Cabinet is now ready for glue removal and then sanding. The base will also be sanded both inside and underneath and a coat of satin clear applied to keep it in pristine condition.

New decals are applied and the cabinet is set aside to allow the adhesive to set.
